What it does
One name, three lists, one answer.
It tells you whether the name is on the SECO, EU or OFAC sanctions list, after normalising capital letters, accents, punctuation and word order. The check page shows each list’s date.
TAIA Confidential ScreeningLive
Your browser encrypts the name. TAIA’s service compares it with the Swiss SECO list, the OFAC SDN list and the EU consolidated list without decrypting it, and only your browser can open the answer.

Who it is for
Before onboarding a client or making a payment, when the name itself is confidential. Paid plans are for business use.
What is protected
It is encrypted in your browser and compared while it stays encrypted. The service does not store it. The service still sees that a check arrived, when, and your network address.

Questions
Every primary name and alias on the Swiss SECO list (its Latin-script spellings), the OFAC SDN list and the EU consolidated financial sanctions list, as of the dates shown on the check page. UN Security Council designations are included to the extent they are implemented in the Swiss and EU lists; the UN list itself is not a separate list in this service.
Not yet. It finds exact matches after normalising capital letters, accents, punctuation and word order. A missing word, a typo or another transliteration is not found. “Not on the lists” does not mean “not sanctioned”.
TAIA’s service compares only the encrypted form of the name and cannot decrypt it. It sees that a check arrived, when, and its size, and your network address. This holds for the page’s code as TAIA publishes it; TAIA serves both the page and the service. The full notice is in the privacy policy, section 6b.
No. A possible match means the same written name is on a list, not that it is the same person. You decide. This does not replace a full screening tool.
The protocol has not yet had an independent cryptography review.
